For people in need of a much larger screen, Samsung has a very large tablet in the works. There was an FCC filing a couple of weeks ago showing some of its design which included dual speakers on the back, and mid-range specifications suggesting an affordable price.
Now, all these leaked promotional images finally showing the front-side of the device. Besides the size, the most obvious difference in this tablet compared to other Samsung tablets is the omission of their classic home button that’s been used since the Galaxy S3. It appears Samsung will use Androids onscreen navigation keys instead for the sake of convenience, the tablet being large-and-all.
These images also highlight how the back cover opens, allowing the tablet to stand upright for your viewing pleasure. You can also see an opening on the back, just above the foldable stand near the top which possibly allows for the tablet to be hung on a wall. Apparently Samsung wants this device to become a house-hold necessity. Somewhat of a Galaxy View mobile TV or electronic photo frame.
Speaking of photo’s, the tablet also has an HD front-facing camera for video calls capable of 1080p recording.
