Here is a concept that’s the best of three, it closes, its full screen and its touchscreen. This design has the audacity to combine the clamshell trend of the 90’s with the present touchscreen display by the innovative use of flexible display technology. This bad-boy bends at three points, allowing you to make it compact in two ways –half fold or full fold.
In the full fold there’s a small section of the display that’s exposed, this unique feature allows you to have all your notifications visible even when in sleep mode.
This looks really futuristic, but numerous reports indicate we may see these flexible display’s January 2016, though we’ve heard promises before.
There’s a number of complications that make it difficult for these devices to cross into reality. Batteries, processors, sensors, cameras, and all the other components that drive our high-tech electronics would need to be flexible as well.
The designers and R&d Core Ltd were really thinking outside the box with this concept offering.

History has shown that personal electronics with hinge-points tend to have a limited life expectancy. This will definitely be a wait and see market introduction.
Also, there’s no reference to the screen size and the smartphone market, flexible or not, is trending towards bigger displays.
