The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S7 may be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processors and a new Agile design process might shave a couple of months off the expected delivery time. This time frame update should place it directly into Christmas stockings if all goes to plan.
With the S7 still months away, Samsung will undoubtedly mention a few key S7 features at a special Samsung Unpacked 2015 preview event August 13th at New York’s Lincoln Center. This is also an opportunity to plug the latest version of the Note 5 phablet. These product announcements are big for the company as it struggles with market share, revenue and marketplace profit which has been dominated by Apple.
Samsung executives hope success with the upcoming Galaxy Note 5 will sooth their heartburn caused by Apple’s launch of its latest iPhones which has been setting sales records and raked in billions.
