Even today, a discussion about tech is still talking about a man’s world. Where venture capitalists view a female-narrative pitch as abrasive, strident or just irrational 83% more often than a male-narrative pitch. Well, there’s one app that’s a breath of fresh air amongst all this testosterone and flexing.
‘Ruby’ launched on 30 July 2015, an app that’s uniquely personalized and different in its approach to sex & women’s health. The app takes all information provided it about cycles & natural habits, and processes it to provide practical advice. This advice enables the user to be pro-active and start anticipating for example a headache and cramps. It also lets you know when your pain tolerance is highest.
In addition to body-talk, Ruby is also a public forum for women. There you can ask questions, share answers and trade secrets. And if you are comfortable enough, talk about topics you wouldn’t dare share on Facebook.
The more you use this ‘app’lication the better it gets and the more advice it will be able to provide you in return. It basically gives you a new place to turn-to.
