From all indications Nokia is planning a comeback in January 2016. This is when the contract with Microsoft runs out and they can return to making phones. In 2014 Microsoft purchased Nokia’s devices and services division, which left Nokia to focus on mapping, networking and managing patents. Microsoft can use the Nokia branding until the contract expires this month. Then Nokia would be in a position to start executing smartphone plans.
Since conception, the Nokia Swan has remained only as a concept in waiting. Waiting for the contractual obligations between Nokia and Microsoft to expire.
Nokia recently agreed to buy its smaller French rival Alcatel-Lucent in a $16.6 billion all-stock deal. This business deal brings the Nokia Swan Android much closer to reality. The combined entity, to be called Nokia Corporation, will become the second largest mobile equipment manufacturer in the world with an estimated market share of 35%.
So contrary to some speculations, Nokia does appear to be coming back into the smartphone business, and with a bang with its New Nokia Swan Android Phone. And just go over the features and specifications of the device, in case someone missed them –The Nokia Swan combines smart phone and tablet into one device. For normal phone use, it is an amazing smartphone. With a quad core CPU, probably an intel Chip, and probably over 4GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage.
When you open the device it transforms into a mini laptop or tablet, while in smartphone use it has a 5.3-inch fully HD display, after the transformation into a tablet it has an 11-inch display and has a 42 Mega Pixel Pure view camera.
